Friendship Public Utilities Extension Design Build
The Town of Holly Springs chose SouthernCross Construction as the prime contractor for their first design-build project. SouthernCross teamed up with Timmons Group and Water and Waste Systems to build out the water, sewer, and reclaim infrastructure to extend from the wastewater treatment plant to the Friendship Innovation Park which will be home to commercial and life science manufacturing in Holly Springs, NC. The project consists of approximately 50,000 total LF of pipe consisting of 12” C900 reclaim, 16” C900 force main, and 24” DIP waterline. The project also includes a new regional pump station with a 4,280 gal per minute capacity.
